Abergele Golf Club
Abergele has seen quite a bit of change over the last ten years and all of it good.
The course was redesigned in 2001 and new greens were introduced to USGA specification. The result is a great golfing experience all year round.
The course is set in the parkland of Gwrych Castle with magnificent coastal views. The 18th is the signature hole, with a fairway that races down the hillside to a very tight gap, with big trees on one side and dense woodland on the other. Even the professional won’t advise on the wisest approach to this one.
