The most northerly in Wales, this is a thinking golfer’s course. The club motto is ‘Her Deg ar Hen Dir’, meaning ‘an honest challenge on ancient land’. Others simply call it ‘nature’s gift to golfers’. As you’re driving off to views of the Irish Sea, Snowdonia and even the Isle of Man on a clear day, you’ll understand why.
You’ll meet the flat, the hilly, the dog-leg and the blind approach. Watch out for the gorse, it has no mercy – especially on the 17th. The 11th is a long roller-coaster of a hole which might tempt you into a high risk/high reward strategy.
