This parkland course is on a hill above the medieval market town of Denbigh, home to another of King Edward I’s infamous “ring of castles”. He must really have been worried about us Welsh. Set in rolling countryside and mature woodland, there are panoramic views down the Vale of Clwyd to the coast.
The course isn’t overly long, so you won’t need your driver off every tee. But don’t think that makes it easy: your golfing skills will be tested to the limits, especially your accuracy.
