Looking at the scorecard, you could be fooled into thinking this is a relatively tame and flat course. With no trees to act as a magnet for the wayward tee-shot. But the narrow and undulating fairways will test all golfers. And the gorse, heather and bracken can be ball eaters.

The wind that whips in from the Irish Sea also means the course can change its character from day to day – or even hour to hour. Luckily there’s a welcoming Clubhouse at the end where you can sit back and soak up the coastal views.
