The Kings Head Hotel Monmouth
Originally a 17th-century coaching inn, this Wetherspoon hotel is centrally located in
the town square, opposite the town hall. We have 24 individual bedrooms, many with high, vaulted ceilings. All of our rooms are en suite and include tea- and coffee-making facilities, a hair dryer and TV. Free Wi-Fi is available in the bar area.
Monmouth is an elegant market town with a splendid location at the confluence of three rivers – the Trothy, Monnow and (more famously) the river Wye. The town overlooks the hills of Abergavenny, Hay Bluff and the Brecon Beacons, making for superb views and must-do tours of the Royal Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. There are also some excellent golf courses in the area.
There is a large pay-and-display car park approximately 300 metres from the hotel on Glendower Street.
