Prestatyn Golf Club
Prestatyn is a ball losing distance from the Irish Sea. It’s mostly flat, so it’s easy walking. However it’s also one of the longest 18 hole tracks in North Wales – measuring over 6,800 yards from the Championship tees. So you might want to get your pedometer out.
Established in 1905 along the rolling sands of Gronant dunes, one of the toughest holes is the dogleg 3rd aptly named “Round the bend”.
Prevailing South – Westerly winds regularly make an appearance at Prestatyn, so you’ll want to pack your low shots.
Reward yourself with a drink in the clubhouse in the knowledge that you’ve just played one of the most northerly courses in Wales.
